Lyman Orchards and the Salvation Army are partnering this December to make the holidays bright for those in need throughout the greater Middletown and greater Hartford communities!

WTIC NewsTalk 1080 is once again hosting the Holiday Store to raise funds for those who are in the most need throughout Greater Hartford. With Lyman Orchards participation, the Holiday Store will benefit the greater Middletown area. Celebrating its 33^rd year, the Holiday Store continues to be a vital fundraiser for The Salvation Army and those they serve.

Lyman Orchards will host two WTIC NewsTalk 1080 radio broadcasts, have countertop kettles and toy bins located at the Apple Barrel Farm Market to accept donations throughout the month of December. Lyman Orchards Apple Barrel Farm Market will also be donating 5% of sales throughout the month of December to the Salvation Army. 

New, unwrapped toys for all ages are needed. Suggested ideas are: Arts & Crafts Kits, Board Games, STEM Kits, Books, Bikes, and Scooters.
