Middlefield, CT — Lyman Orchards, a popular family-owned New England destination for over 280 years is pleased to announce a recent $13,501 donation to Connecticut Children’s using proceeds from its 2021 Sunflower Maze. Lyman donates one dollar from each Sunflower Maze admission to benefit patients at Connecticut Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders.

Over the past 15 years that Lyman has partnered with Connecticut Children’s, a total of $162,489 has been donated. The facility plays a leading role in helping wage the battle against pediatric cancer.

“One of the greatest joys we experience every year is making this donation to Connecticut Children’s,” states Lyman Orchards Executive Vice President John Lyman. “The facility’s medical professionals and staff work tirelessly in fighting this devastating illness. The 2022 Sunflower Maze will open on July 30 and run daily through August 28.
